  1. Hi Christina,

I am primarily a professional harpist and singer, but over the last few years I have developed a large studio of young piano players. They all know I sing, and lately I have been getting more inquiries about teaching voice. I graduated with a choral ed. degree from UNT back in 1981, but I am not at all current on pedagogy. You sound like you safely teach young voices, so I was wondering if I could have a lesson with you just to pick your brain and see if voice lessons is something I could offer to my interested students in the future.

    • Hi Laurel, I love teaching voice to children. I would be very happy to offer you a lesson focused on the training of children’s voices. I have some experience training voice teachers and choir directors on working with young voices. I am sending you an email so we can schedule a time. Looking forward to talking with you more — Christina Dragoo

  2. Hi,
I am interested in child voice lessons for my 6 year old daughter. She loves to sing and at times in a more opera’ish voice and she loves music class at school. Do you still provide voice lessons to children?

    • I am sorry that I am just seeing your comment now. Yes I do still provide lessons to children. In fact we are doing an opera scenes workshop this fall. The 6 and 7 year olds are singing a little selection from the opera Hansel and Gretel. Feel free to email me ChristinaDragoo@gmail.com or text me (909) 969-3856 and we can schedule a free trial lesson for your daughter and maybe chat a bit about the opera program.
