The Dallas Opera Guild Vocal Competition is an awesome opportunity for young opera singers (ages 21-32).  For the first time, this competition is now open to applicants from all 50 states!  (Hello former students in California & Massachusetts.  When you win your way to the semifinals & finals on April 17-18, plan to spend an extra day to visit me!)

You will need to submit 2 audio or video files of arias.

You will need 5 Arias.  One must be in English.  One must be in Italian.  And one must be in a language that is not Italian or English.

Judges will include Brian Zeger from the Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Young Artist Program and Joshua Winograde from Los Angeles Opera.

For applicants in and around Dallas, I am available as a voice teacher with particular knowledge of the bel canto repertoire and Mozart operas.  I also have a home recording studio and can make a professional-demo recording for your application.
